Dan Allison, LCSW (he/him)

Clinical Social Worker (Associate)

Professional Background:
Dan received his Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University, where he focused his studies on ADHD and neurodiversity. He brings experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to clients looking to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and past trauma—challenges that often co-occur with ADHD.

Dan works with individuals, couples, and families, taking a strengths-based approach to therapy. He is passionate about celebrating neurodiversity as a unique asset and supporting clients as they navigate a neurotypical world. His goal is to create affirming, collaborative therapeutic relationships where clients feel both understood and empowered to thrive as their authentic selves.

Therapeutic Approach:
Dan integrates CBT, Narrative Therapy, and IFS to help clients understand their experiences, reframe self-perceptions, and develop meaningful coping strategies. He believes that therapy should be a supportive, collaborative process—one that allows clients to explore challenges while embracing their strengths.
