Professional Background:
Lisa Celmer, LICSW, is a Clinical Social Worker with experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients manage depression, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions.

Lisa is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ and nonbinary young adults on issues related to gender, sexuality, and identity development. They also work closely with college students navigating academic stress, disability accommodations, medical leave decisions, and the transition to or from school.

In addition to their clinical work, Lisa provides supervision to pre-licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians, supporting their professional development as they work toward independent licensure.

Lisa integrates CBT, DBT, and ACT to support clients in developing coping skills, processing emotions, and building resilience. Their approach is affirming and client-centered, with a focus on helping individuals explore identity, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change.
