Professional Background:
Anthony earned their Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston (2016) and has worked in a variety of mental health settings over the past nine years. They have experience supporting clients navigating LGBTQ+ identities, trauma, substance use, emotional challenges, and chronic mental health conditions.
Anthony is passionate about social justice and its intersection with mental health, ensuring that therapy is a space where all clients feel validated, understood, and empowered.
Therapeutic Approach:
Anthony primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, the recovery model, and trauma-informed care to help clients build resilience and create meaningful lives on their own terms.
In addition to working with a limited number of individual clients, Anthony also facilitates the DBT Group for Young Adults at LIKEMIND, providing structured support for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
