Be LIKEMINDed
To be LIKEMINDed is to approach yourself and others with:
curiosity • respect • welcome
(and a touch of humor)
Being LIKEMINDed means slowing down, staying open, and being willing to see things from a different perspective.
It’s not about having the right answer. It’s about staying in the conversation.
When we’re overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck, our perspective tends to narrow. We fall into patterns that feel automatic. We assume, react, or shut down without realizing it. Even a small shift in perspective can create space. Space to pause, to reflect, and to understand. Being LIKEMINDed is about practicing that shift.
It’s about getting curious instead of certain.
Choosing respect instead of judgment.
Creating a sense of welcome—for yourself and for others—even when things feel uncomfortable.
At LIKEMIND
This approach is the foundation of our work and shows up in:
therapy
executive functioning coaching
real conversations
everyday moments
LIKEMIND began as a group of clinicians aligned in the way we care for others. Our work is grounded in clinical expertise and in the way we show up — with curiosity, respect, and welcome. That idea continues to shape everything we do.
A small place to start
When you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, try asking yourself:
What have I missed?
What might I not be taking into account?
Could there be a more balanced way to see this?
