Group therapy sessions can be a great option for individuals who want to supplement their individual psychotherapy services or for those who simply prefer a supportive group environment. Group therapy can be particularly useful in this day and age as we often choose to engage with others through text and social media rather than through in person connections. Participating in a group experience can help you understand that there are others who share your struggles. You will also benefit from hearing perspectives other than your own and broadening the context within which you view the world. Young Adult Psychotherapy Group
This group will focus on providing a forum in which to express your concerns, frustrations, and successes as you move through young adulthood. Each group will be focused on a different developmental milestone (e.g., educational/vocational attainment, independent living, financial issues, relationships, etc.). The goal of this group is to share resources, provide support to one another, and learn coping techniques to help manage stress and anxiety.
